FINE ART PIGMENTS & PAPER
All of our work is printed on fine art paper with archival ink so you can expect unsurpassed quality that will last a lifetime.
We use lustre fine art paper as our standard, unless otherwise noted on a particular piece that calls for a special finish. Lustre provides a slight gloss and enhances the color of each image.
The sizes listed next to all of our images refer to the paper size, not the frame size.
ARCHIVAL FRAMING & GLAZING
Our gallery-style frames are sustainable, made from solid maple and available in black or white. We use archival-quality acrylic glazing (the 'glass' that protects the image) with 99% UV for protection. Please ask about custom sizes.
SIZING GUIDE:
Print size: 16x20, 16x16, 20x24, 20x20 add 1/5" face and 1.5" depth
Print size: 24x30, 24x24, 30x40, 30x30 add 3/4" face and 1.5" depth
Print size: 40x60, 40x40, 58x96, 58x58 add 1 or 1.5" face and 2" depth
CLASSIC MAT BOARDS & BORDERS
MAT BOARDS OR MATTING
Mat boards are optional with all our work. They too are archival and acid-free so they don't yellow over time. Mats provide a slight recess so the print does not touch the glass. We use 4-ply mats in 1.5-inch, 2-inch- and 3-inch sizes.
BORDERS
You have the option to skip the mat board and have your image printed with a white border instead for a cool-looking alternative.
PLEXI MOUNTING
Plexi is a modern, sleek alternative to classic wood frames - it's a type of premium archival mounting. There are several options with mounting and we recommend a plexi front with aluminium back and the print sandwiched in between. They come ready to hang with a wooden or aluminium brace.
